My black stray lady(Lizzie) was found behind a wine barrel outside a Taverna. I took her home, cleaned her up. She went to the litter box at once. Within weeks i had taught her how to 'fetch' drachma coins and drop them at my feet. Hilarioius. No one who saw this trick could believe how clever she was. Sadly she developed severe epilepsy and passed away but the two of us had a marvelous year together.

I had 2 cats from the streets in athens as did my friend who now lives in Bulgaria when i moved to Switzerland i wasnt able to bring my cats here so my friend took them on and they now all live in Bulgaria and are doing well.

I have been to Greece many times and I always enjoy the company of the local cats....I now take cat treats with me on holiday....I applaude your efforts, I think the work you do is wonderfull
