    This organic supermarket just north of Athens in Kryoneri keeps costs low and product standards high. Farmers bring their produce directly to the Farmer's Republic and sell organic fresh fruit and vegetables every Wednesday and Saturday in the covered market area.

    A tour round Athens' newest old site! Aristotle's Lyceum opened to the public in June, 2014. Entrance is free and the site is currently open daily from 8 am to 8 pm. The main entrance is on Rigilis Street and the site backs onto the gardens of the Byzantine and Christian Museum. WELL worth a visit!

    The National Archaeological Museum of Athens is showing a collection of artefacts retrieved from a shipwreck off the coast of Antikythera. The most famous find is the Antikythera Mechanism but the entire exhibition is absolutely fascinating. It has proved to be so popular it will have an extended run till January 2013!
